The YAC group provides Catholic instruction to high school students.

Y.A.C. The YAC group is a high-energy group of teenagers dedicated to serving the many needs of our parish and community. We meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 for three Sundays and one Wednesday night. We are a close-knit group and are always open to more involvement from our fellow teen parishioners. We hope to see every high school aged teen join our group. The YAC group is a very versatile group. We have many service projects in our Parish and the surrounding community such as the Red Cross Blood Drive, the Christmas Advent Gift Program, Choir for 8:30 a.m. mass, Running a booth at Spring Festival, Cleaning the Church, and helping in the parish with any of the needs we are called upon for. Our group meets in the DePaul Center at 9:30 on the Sunday mornings that we meet and in the Parish Hall for the Wednesday meeting. Our meeting is very versatile, from open discussion on the many issues we face as teenagers in our society today to films and handouts. We participate with other youth groups in a volleyball tournament on Sunday afternoons and at the search weekends and the Youth Conference. At the end of the year we have an opportunity to attend Catholic Youth Day at Six Flags over Georgia. We also plan outings such as bowling, country line dancing, eating out and lock-ins. The fellowship and friendships that you receive from this group will last you a lifetime. Many memories are made and the support you get from each other will help you through many hard times you will face as a teenager. It will make it easier to face this with a group that shares your ideas and needs. We hope you will give us the opportunity to become your friends as Sisters and Brothers in Christ.
