The date is tentative until the preparation program is complete. Advent & Lent are Penitential Seasons; couples are encouraged to plan their wedding outside these seasons.
Care of the sick and those confined to their Homes Please call the Parish Office for a Priest as soon as you or someone in your family is hospitalized or suffers a serious illness or injury.Regular visits are made to the hospitals and the priest visits those confined to home every First Friday
Fr. James Havens We will welcome Fr. Jim Havens as our new Pastor at all Masses next weekend. Independence Day Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It's a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and a reason to fly the American flag. May you and your family have a safe and happy July 4th!
A Couple of Reminders
- We have all been waiting for the warm weather of spring and summer. While casual clothes are the norm during warm weather, it is necessary to put some thought into what will be worn to church. Holy Mass is so important in our lives as Catholics. Please be considerate as well as an example to others by the way you dress - so that your clothing reflects your faith in what is going on at Mass. Clothing should always be both appropriate and modest.
- Another sign of our reverence and faith in the Holy Eucharist is our punctuality. Arriving late and leaving early is not the example that we want to pass on to the next generation. Our faith in God and our respect for the Lord's Day deserve a good 70 minutes on Sunday.
Refurbishment of Pews we now have received donations of $2997 towards refurbishment of kneelers and adding of seat cushions .Any donation to this project, may be placed in an envelope marked "Pew Refurbishment" and dropped in the collection basket, mailed to the Rectory office or give to Fr. Irwin.

His project will be a renovation of our Library and some minor outside repairs. Renovations will consist of replacing carpet, repainting interior of the main library room and replacing some rotting sideboards outside the entrance. He has volunteer parents and scouts from his troop. He will need the following supplies to complete his project: approximately 800 sq. ft. of carpet; 5 - 6 boards of siding; 3 gals interior paint; 1 gal exterior paint; paint brushes/rollers and drop cloths. If you have (or can donate) any of the supplies, or if you have questions, you may contact Ty at 251-209-1259.
