Our Lord 11/25 Thanksgiving Mass 11/28/29 November, the Month of the Holy Souls We take the month of November to pray for the souls
of the faithful departed each year. We have placed the books of the deceased near the baptismal pool Please remember that the book has the names of all of the deceased from previous years already in it, and so, there is no need to rewrite the names of deceased loved ones. Please call Sandra(Rectory office) if you would like to have the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for a deceased loved one.
Thanksgiving Mass
Our Annual Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 25, 7:00 p.m. In keeping with tradition, we ask each family to bring a loaf of fresh baked bread to be blessed and shared with another parish family (write your family’s name on the wrapping). Our Annual Sharing Project this year will be to collect food for our pantry. Our calls for food assistance have continued to increase due to the present economic conditions and your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Confetti Eggs “Baking Season” is fast approaching and we need your eggshells to make “confetti eggs”. How to: Gently tap the end of the egg on your kitchen counter. Once cracked, peel back the shell to make an opening about the size of a quarter. Once you have poured the yolk and egg white into your favorite recipe, thoroughly rinse out the eggshell. Let it dry upside down in the egg carton. Leave your carton of shells in the Cry Room.
Short-Term Teachers Needed: We have a few students who would like to be baptized and receive their First Holy Communion and who are in need of some instruction. If you would like to instruct one of these children for several weeks in preparation for these sacraments, please call Debbie Stapleton. We could really use you.
